Dr. DeSena is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. A graduate of the University of New Hampshire, he received his medical training at the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his residency in foot surgery at Thorek Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. DeSena serves on the Board of Licensure of Podiatric Medicine and is a past president of the Maine Podiatric Medical Association. He is particularly interested in surgical treatment of forefoot deformities, as well as treatment of sports injuries, heel pain, and children's conditions.
